My name is Alex Ruiz. I’m a programmer with special interest in Java, API design, testing and OOP. I’m author of various technical articles and speaker at international conferences. I’m also the creator of FEST, an open source project that aims at making testing of Swing and JavaFX user interfaces (and testing in general) easier.
In a previous life, I created Declarative Caching for Spring which provided declarative, transparent, code-free caching using Aspect-Oriented Programming techniques. As far as I know, the caching module is still widely used.
I’m very fortunate to be part of the JavaFX Controls team :)
